Misericordia Awards Scholarship

Misericordia awarded a $1000 scholarship to eighth grade student, Elise Ruggeri, on May 16 at the graduation ceremony in St. Ambrose Church. Elise's winning essay will be published in the June edition of Il Pensiero. Elise and her family will attend a meeting of Misericordia to receive the check. Elise will be attending Notre Dame High School in the fall.

Meeting on September 14

Due to things beyond our control, the September meeting is cancelled.

Procession on October 5

Our annual procession will be on Sunday, October 5 at 10:30 am. from St. Ambrose Church. Please gather in the church parking lot at 10:15 am.

Bocce Tournament on October 26

Misericordia will participate in an Italian organization bocce tournament at the Italia America Bocce Club on October 26. It will be an all day event, and teams will be competing for a $1200 prize that will go to the winner's favorite charity. Please come and cheer the Misericordia team to victory. More details to come.
