The Misericordia Scholarship for 2026 was awarded to Adison Klauss. Adison will attend Cor Jesu Academy in the fall.
Next Meeting September 13 in the Hall
Our next meeting will be on September 13 in Polizzi Hall.
We were to be at the Bocce Club, but had to move back to the Hall due to repairs that need to be made that weekend at the Club.
This will be an interesting business meeting. We have several things to report.
Procession will be on October 4
Our procession will start at 10:30 am from the parking lot at St. Ambrose. We will process in front of church, then right on Wilson, right on Edwards, right on Bischoff, right on Marconi and back into church for the 11 am. Mass. The lunch plans after the Mass are not yet finalized. More information to come.
Marianne Peri Sack
It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our former president, Marianne Peri Sack. Marianne was a big part of Misericordia for many years, and she did much for the Italian community in particular and the greater community in general.
There will be a Mass intention for Marianne in St. Ambrose Church at noon on May 8.
Next Meeting is April 12
Our next meeting will be on April 12 in Polizzi Hall. We will have something special at this meeting. There will be a presentation on the Shroud of Turin, the burial cloth of Jesus. You will be amazed at what you will hear.
Following the presentation, we will go to the cafeteria for a Mostiaccoli Lunch to benefit the St. Ambrose School Scholarship Fund. The cost of the lunch is $15 per person. Misericordia will give $5 toward the cost of the lunch to all members who have paid their 2026 dues.
